Itinerary Detail

Day 1:Arrival in Muscat

Arrive at the Muscat International Airport, where you’ll meet our representative. Then, you’ll get a private transfer to the pre-listed hotel. Along the way, get a sneak peek of the cityscape. Upon reaching the hotel, complete the check-in formalities and unwind. The day is at ease; you can spend it as you like. An overnight stay at the hotel in Muscat.

Day 2:Muscat City Tour

Post breakfast, the day is scheduled for the Muscat City Tour. First, you’ll visit the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque, a remarkable example of Islamic architecture. Next, head towards the Bait Al Zubair Museum and get insights about Oman’s rich history. Further, continue along the waterfront Corniche, visiting the Fish Market and the colourful Muttrah Souq. Then, take a halt at Al Alam Palace for clicking photographs. Finally, make your way back to the hotel for the night.

Day 3:Dolphin Watching

Wake up early, have breakfast, and then depart for the Marina for a Dolphin-Watching Tour. The group trip takes place daily, from 08:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. and the second slot from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Here, you’ll enjoy the thrill of spotting dolphins and perhaps even whales along Muscat's rugged coastline. Further, return to Muscat and spend the rest of the day at leisure. An overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 4:Wahiba Sands and Wadi Bani Khalid

After breakfast, take a 9-hour, 4-wheel-drive tour of the Wahiba Sands. Upon reaching the dunes, admire the variety of flora and fauna and visit a traditional Bedouin house in this wilderness. Further, continue to the oasis of Wadi Bani Khalid, comprising quaint villages embedded in the mountains. Here, you can enjoy the beautiful blue water pools. Return to Muscat in the evening. Day 5:Nizwa and Jebel Akhdar

This morning, after breakfast, proceed for a tour of Nizwa and Jebel Akhdar. You’ll begin with a visit to Nizwa Round Tower Fort and the lively Nizwa Souk. Further, drive to Birkat Al Mauz Village, where you can walk through the lush green date plantations. Next, drive towards Jebel Akhdar, Oman’s Green Mountain, known for fruit orchards and rose gardens. Enjoy the cool mountain air and breathtaking views. Finally, you’ll drive back to Muscat for an overnight stay.

Day 6:Coastal Trip to Sur

On day 6, begin your day with a morning meal, and then you’ll prepare for a coastal trip to Sur. En route, the scenic drive, take a halt at Quriyat Village and the spectacular Bimah Sinkhole. Next, drive to the picturesque village of Wadi Tiwi and stop at Wadi Shab for a photo opportunity. Continue with your journey towards Sur, an established centre for trade with East Africa. Enjoy visiting the famous Dhow Factory (closed on Fridays) and learn about Oman’s traditional boat-building heritage. Then, stop for a photo session at Fins Beach on your return journey to Muscat. An overnight stay in Muscat.

Day 7:Departure

Today is the last day of Oman's 6-night, 7-day itinerary. Wake up, have breakfast, and pack your belongings to complete the check-out formalities at the hotel. Then, you’ll get a private transfer to Muscat International Airport for your onward flight.
