Itinerary Details
Day 01: Arrival in Muscat
Arrive at the Muscat International Airport, where you’ll meet our representative. Then, you’ll be transferred to the pre-listed hotel, complete the check-in formalities, and freshen up. The remaining part of the day is leisure; you can explore the nearby area or laze around in your room. An overnight stay at the hotel in Muscat.
Day 02: Muscat City Tour
After early breakfast, the day is reserved for a Muscat City Tour.
08:00 am—Visit the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque, the largest mosque in Oman and one of the most popular places in Muscat. Then, visit the Bait Al Zubair Museum (except Friday), a brief introduction that traces Oman’s history and development. Drive along the waterfront Corniche, visiting the Fish Market and the colourful Muttrah Souq. Later, proceed for a photo stop at the magnificent Al Alam Palace, the official palace of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos.

Note: The Grand Mosque is open only from Saturday to Thursday from 0800 to 1100 hrs. (the last entry is at 10:30 hrs.)
Day 03: Muscat
Start your day with breakfast, then depart for the Marina for whale and dolphin watching. The amazing Dolphin ride lasts three hours and includes transfer time from the hotel. The group trip takes place daily, with the first trip starting at 08:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. and the second one from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Upon reaching the Marina, embark on a boat and search the seas for Dolphins and Whales. Watching wild dolphins is a thrilling way to start the day, and the lucky may even come across one of the many species of whales that can be found just a few kilometres from Muscat’s rugged coast. After a fun-filled day, retreat to the hotel for an overnight stay in Muscat.
Day 04: Muscat - Wahiba - Muscat
Today, after breakfast, get on an excursion to the Wahiba Sands. This vast undulating red and white sea of dunes rises to 200 meters. It is also home to various flora and fauna. The ever-changing patterns of the dunes are a photographer’s delight. Further, visit a Bedouin house in this wilderness. In stark contrast to this is Wadi Bani Khalid. It comprises small pretty villages embedded in the mountains. The Wadi has clear, deep blue water pools. (It is advisable to wear light, comfortable clothing and walking shoes). Further, return to the hotel in Muscat for an overnight stay.
Day 05: Departure
This is the last day of the Oman 4-night, 5-day itinerary. After breakfast, pack your belongings and complete the check-out formalities. Then, you’ll get a private transfer to the Muscat International Airport to board a flight to your onward destination.
