India has an expanding and rapidly developing furniture market with around 10,500 importers from countries such as Germany, Spain, Italy, Spain and Malaysia. Indian furniture market comprises furniture for commercial and residential use. Branded furniture has made a foray into the commercial market with its modular kitchen set, wardrobes and modern room accessories. The India International Furniture Fair aims to highlight the recent developments in the furniture market, innovations, technology and also deal with issues related to manpower and export. The program at this trade event in Mumbai includes seminars, business symposium and showcase of premium furniture brands.
MP International has its headquarters in Singapore and is the organizer for this furniture trade fair. At least 60 per cent of international exhibitors are expected to turn up for the event.
