The Grand oak Manor is a picturesque colonial-era monument set delicately amidst a stretch of forty acres of thick oak, cedar and rhododendron. This striking piece of architecture was once home to the British India’s Lieutenant General Sir Henry Ramsay. Rai Bahadur Harikishan lal shah Gangola in 1931 purchased the property, it has remained in the family ever since. Situated in the depths of the Binsar wildlife sanctuary, this abode of rich Heritage has hosted a number of prominent personalities, the renowned classical Dancer Uday Shankar amongst many others. The Hotel not only provides for a picturesque view it also provides insightful walks through these wild lives. The locale can be explored individually or by grouping up in to guide tour walks.
