Overview

Rosa Ville Cottage Shillong is situated on the slopes of the hills in Megalaya and is a Heritage Guest House & Resort. The resort was built in 1935 by Late Raibahadur Kanaklal Barua and named after his first daughter. The hotel is designed based on neo-colonial architecture. The resort offers three kinds of accommodation to the guests namely Standard Rooms, Deluxe Rooms and Suite. The entire resort is well decorated and furnished with period furniture. The resort has a multi-cuisine restaurant that caters to the gastronomical needs of the guests. The resort has a beautiful garden where the guests can spend reading a book or just relax listening to music. The resort also has a separate sitting area for the guests. The resort arranges for sightseeing trips in and around Shillong. The hotel is ideal for leisure travelers and also is in proximity to the railway station.
