Located near the “Mall” and “Chowrasta” which are famous spots of leisure activities, the Central Heritage popularly known as Fortune Resort Central is a luxury hotel situated in Darjeeling. The hotel offers guests an experience of British Heritage, which has been a part of Darjeeling for more than a hundred years. This block was built in 1905 and offers elegantly appointed rooms with modern facilities. The hotel includes 46 well constructed rooms that provide a breathtaking view of the city. Fortune Resort Central also provides spacious rooms for meetings, conferences and gatherings. The 58” feet long hall known as the Regency can be converted into a class room, U-shaped Theater and a sit down area that accommodates 250 guests at a time. The Regal room provides similar facilities to Regency but can only accommodate 100 people and the Board Room is apt for small meetings that accommodate 15 people.

The room includes a large double bed or two single beds, a ceiling fan, a large window that gives splendid view of the beautiful city, all day room service, attached bathroom along with running cold water and hot water available only for a few hours, TV with cable connection, study table and a chair, two bed side tables, first aid kit and a safe deposit box.
King sized bed
The heritage suite offers spacious two large bedrooms that are done up in pristine pastel shades. The suite includes two bedrooms with two comfortable king sized beds, a common living room with a remote controlled TV with cable connection and a large sofa, tea/coffee maker, first aid kit, attached bathrooms with running cold water and hot water is available for a few hours, all day room service, fax facilities, study table and a chair and a safe deposit box.
The guests can enjoy the magical stay at the 46 brilliantly furnished rooms. These rooms are located in the Central and Mountain Lodge, two of the heritage buildings of the hotel. The rooms at the hotel are categorized as Standard rooms and Fortune Club rooms and suites where the hotel provides 24 Standard and 10 Fortune Club rooms. The 10 Fortune Club rooms & Suites at the hotel offer superb facilities along with the breathtaking view of the Himalayas.
The Orchard
The in house restaurant offers an array of delights and buffets. This multi-cuisine restaurant is an ideal venue of having lunch meetings or relaxed dinners with family and friends.
1910 Lounge & Bar
Inspired by the British Era, the hotel also includes a lounge & bar. Guests are welcomed to come and have light snacks along with alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.
