The Centaur Hotel’s red and white stone building came into existence when Air India decided to enter the Hospitality industry in the 1980s, considering the prevalent trend of international airlines across the world. With Centaur Hotel, Air India wanted to offer patrons a world class product near the international airport, which would increase tourism in India. In its 30 years of journey (Since the Asian Games in 1982), Hotel Centaur has been entertaining travelers ever since.

Due to the apt location of the hotel (located next to the International airport), Centaur is the preferred choice for business guests who are in Delhi for a day or two, mainly for meetings. For the leisure traveler, Gurgaon is just around the corner with a splendid lifestyle and numerous malls. The hotel is in sync with the demands of the international traveler and boasts of a large outdoor swimming pool, health club and fabulous shopping center where one can purchase local Indian handicrafts and souvenirs.

The hotel also has banquet facilities for social as well as corporate functions at the ground floor of the hotel. The banquet facility is a comprehensive unit of Hotel Centaur and has a separate entrance which opens out to a pre-function hall and further to the main banquet hall. Along with the banquet hall, an open lawn is available that can be used for bigger parties and get-togethers. The banquet hall can accommodate 125 guests and the pre-function hall can be used for a get-together of around 100 guests. If a gathering of around 800 people is expected, then the banquet lawn is the best choice. Over and above these options, the Centaur Hotel has a poolside garden that is also available for banqueting purposes and can accommodate almost 1,500 people.
