Located in a sleepy village of Betalghat, on the banks of the river Kosi the Corbett’s Call of the Wild cottage is the only place where night safari is done in open jeeps with searchlights. Travelers and group from all around the world visit this famous village, which is a known for leopard sightseeing. This mid-segment lodge includes 18 rooms and cottages with modern facilities and other recreational amenities including swimming pool, dart, badminton, table tennis, treasure hunt.
This enchanting extra ordinary wildlife spot also offers activities like wildlife tracking, bird watching, picnics by the riverside, nature treks, horse riding, night jeep safari and many more. For entertainment of the guests wildlife films are shown, folk music with barbeque dinner and bonfire are also arranged on request. Along with these activities, a travel desk offers a complete sightseeing of the city and also organizes trekking and jeep safaris. Moreover, for the guests to remember this exciting experience, there is a gift shop from where guests can purchase memento’s and local artifacts.
A double bed or two single beds
The non air-conditioned attractive guestrooms and cottages have all the amenities required for a pleasant stay. The spacious rooms include a attached bathroom with hot/cold water running at all times, a comfortable double bed or two single beds for the children to have their own free space, a ceiling fan and a tea/coffee maker. Apart from this, other room facilities include laundry, doctor on call in case of health emergency, room service and a TV lounge.
A large king sized bed or queen sized bed
The cozy cottages that are lit by bonfire during winters give an extravagant wildlife experience. The cottages come with huge rooms and a sit-up’s outside for closely encountering with nature. Apart from these amenities, there is a ceiling fan, attached bathrooms with shower space and a study table with a tea/coffee maker and a few snacks to go with the beverage.
The Restaurant
The Corbett’s Call of the Wild lodge has its own multi-cuisine restaurant with a fireplace, which offers Indian, Chinese and Continental food including their local irresistible Kumaoni cuisine. Along with this, guests are entertained with the Kumaoni dance and are served exotic drinks. The Corbett’s Call of the Wild tries to provide an overall thrilling wildlife experience to their guests.
