Raghunath Temple in Kullu

Raghunath Temple is one of the most important temples in Kullu. It is believed that in the 17th century, Raja Jagat Singh committed a sin. And to cover up for the sin, he sent one of his courtiers to Ayodhya to get a deity of Lord Raghunath (Lord Rama). When he returned from Ayodhya, the king built this temple and installed the idol. Since then, this temple has been given great reverence by the locals.
