Uteliya is a village of picturesque simplicity, located a few hours away from Ahmedabad, in the state of Gujarat. A magnificent past hidden in the imposing monuments or spectacular landscape does not exist in Uteliya. Relatively the unremarkable rustic nature of the little village itself is most significant of the tourist attractions in Uteliya.

Uteliya Palace :- The erstwhile palace is the focal point of the village. The architecture features a unique combination of the Indo-Saracenic and the European style. Domes, balconies, pillared galleries, and porticos combine with Gujarati haveli style frontals to form a spectacular structure. The high podium, entrance archway, exquisite chandeliers, row of columns, twining staircase, and portraits retains the perfect old-world charm.
Nalsarovar Bird Sanctuary :- This sanctuary is close to Uteliya, and is a one of the most interesting tourist attractions in Uteliya for the bird watchers. About 250 species of birds arrive here from Siberia during the months of November to February.
Hot Springs :- The village has a natural hot sulphuric spring, which is assumed to have remedial qualities. The spring is uninhibitedly used by the local people.
Lothal :- The archaeological site of Lothal is one of the major tourist attractions in Utelia, and is a short tour away from Utelia. Excavations have exposed the remnants of the Indus Valley civilization.
