• Lighthouse

Set about 2 km from Dwarka’s center, the Lighthouse is a must-visit sunset spot. The Lighthouse is a 43 m tall tower with an incredible architectural build that impresses visitors. The oil-lamp version was launched in 1886, and the modern light-bulb Lighthouse was launched between 1960 and 1962.

Mr. Raj Bahadur inaugurated the light tower on 15th July 1962. And by 1988, Lighthouse had a radar that included fog-sensing signals via sounds and vibration. But remember that visitors are not allowed inside the Lighthouse, which is a bummer.

Besides all this, the Lighthouse is one of the best monuments in Dwarka, as it has the Suryamukhi Ganesh Temple behind it.
