Among the many Tourist Attractions here, the Holy Places in Jashpur are some of the interesting spots to be visited.

Divided into two parts, the Upper Ghat and the Lower Ghat, the city of Jashpur has a bountiful of Nature’s goodies on offer. The position of the hills, the green blankets of trees and bushes on the hills, the crystal cascades – all are there to mesmerize you to the core. The Holy Places in Jashpur have charms of their own.

Located at a distance of around 40 km from Jashpur Nagar, the Kunkuri Cathedral, Jashpur was built in the year 1962 during the period of Late Rev Bishop Stanislas Tigga. The church was started by Br. Joseph Toppo and completed by Fr. Manustain S.J during the era of Late Rev. Bishop Francis Ekka.

Once at the cathedral, you will be greeted by a beautiful shrine of Mother Mary. Arcades and arches galore, the cathedral is one of the finest Holy Places in Jashpur. With a sitting capacity of 5000 people, the church attracts devotees of all religions, irrespective of caste or creed.
