Out of the many, UNESCO has inscribed the Darjeeling Himalayan Railway and the Sunderbans on the list of World Heritage Sites. Under the leadership of Mamata Banerjee, Bengal’s Chief Minister, the West Bengal Government has made remarkable achievements in every sector in every district of the state.
The Chief Minister visited every district of Darjeeling to Sunderbans and had meetings with the district officials. She also monitored the ongoing projects and proposed some new ones.
